Terms
Terms of service
For the opsprompt.app website, the OpsPrompt live demo, and the OpsPrompt service.
Effective date: 29 October 2026
These terms are between you and Greene Gator Technology, Inc. ("we", "us"), the company that makes OpsPrompt. They cover the opsprompt.app website, the OpsPrompt live demo (livedemo.opsprompt.app), and the OpsPrompt service, including its connection to files in SharePoint, OneDrive and Google Drive. By using any of them, you agree to these terms.
If your company has a signed agreement with us (an order form or service agreement), that agreement comes first: where it says something different from these terms, the agreement applies. Employees who use their company's OpsPrompt app also see that company's Terms of Use in the app.
The service
OpsPrompt answers your crew's questions from the documents your company publishes to it, and cites where each answer came from. Answers are written by an AI model from those documents. They can be incomplete or wrong, so check the cited document before you rely on an answer for anything that matters, especially safety. Answers are not legal, tax, financial, medical, benefits or HR advice. If an answer conflicts with an official document or policy, the official document applies.
We may improve, change or retire features over time. If we remove something a customer pays for, we'll give notice as their agreement describes.
Accounts and access
- People sign in with their work Microsoft account, or with a one-time code sent to their email address. Each person uses their own sign-in: don't share it.
- Your company decides who has access and at what level, and can remove anyone at any time. You're responsible for the people your company invites.
- Tell us straight away at support@opsprompt.app if you think someone has used an account without permission.
Your company's content
Your company owns the documents it publishes, the questions its people ask, and everything else it adds to OpsPrompt. You give us permission to store, process and display that content only to run OpsPrompt for your company. We don't sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. How we handle personal information is in our privacy policy and, for customers, their agreement.
Only publish documents you have the right to share with your people, and publish each at the right access level: OpsPrompt shows a document to everyone your company has cleared for that level.
Files linked from SharePoint, OneDrive and Google Drive
Where your company has it set up, the people who publish your documents can publish files straight from your company's SharePoint, OneDrive or Google Drive, and link published documents to their originals there, so OpsPrompt can say when an original changes. For Microsoft 365 this uses our app "OpsPrompt Files", which your company's IT approves once.
- OpsPrompt reads only the files a person picks, from that person's own browser, with their own sign-in. It never changes, moves or deletes a file in your SharePoint, OneDrive or Google Drive.
- The sign-in stays in that browser tab and is never sent to our servers.
- A file is published to OpsPrompt only when someone chooses to publish or update it. Nothing is updated on its own.
- Your company can stop this at any time: unlink the files on the Publish page, and remove "OpsPrompt Files" from your Microsoft 365 (Enterprise applications in the Microsoft Entra admin center) or OpsPrompt from your Google account's connected apps.
Details of what is read and stored are in the privacy policy.
Acceptable use
Don't use OpsPrompt to:
- break the law, or publish content you don't have the right to share;
- try to get into another company's app or data, get around access levels, or test our security without our written permission;
- overload, disrupt, copy, scrape or reverse-engineer the service;
- copy, photograph or share documents your company has watermarked. Those pages show the reader's name, and copies can be traced to the account they were shown to.
We may suspend access that breaks these rules or puts the service or other customers at risk, and we'll tell the customer why.
The live demo
The live demo is a shared site for a fictional company. Use it only during your booked time, and don't add anything confidential, personal or real: everything you add is deleted when the demo resets. We may end or reschedule a demo at any time.
Fees
Prices are on our Plans page. What a customer pays, and how, is set out in their order form or agreement. The website and the live demo are free.
No guarantees
Except where a customer's agreement says otherwise, the website, the live demo and the service are provided "as is". We work to keep them available, accurate and secure, but we don't promise that they'll always be available, error-free, or that every answer will be correct. As far as the law allows, we disclaim any implied warranties, such as fitness for a particular purpose.
Limits on liability
As far as the law allows, and except where a customer's agreement says otherwise, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or lost data), and our total liability for anything to do with OpsPrompt is limited to what the customer paid us for OpsPrompt in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100 if nothing was paid.
Ending
You can stop using the website and the demo at any time. A customer can end the service as their agreement describes; their app, published documents and stored questions are then deleted from the service. Their original documents were always theirs and stay where they keep them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, USA. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts located in South Carolina, unless a customer's agreement says otherwise.
Changes
If we change these terms, we'll update this page and its effective date, and tell customers before a change that matters to them takes effect.
