Your procedures are the business. Now a leak carries a name.
OpsPrompt answers your crew's questions from your own documents. Mark a document Confidential and it never shows in the chat; it opens only in a view-only viewer that prints the reader's name on every page and hides an invisible watermark in the page itself. If a page leaks — as a file, a screenshot or a photo of a screen — you drop it into OpsPrompt and see who it was shown to.

How it works
1
Mark it.
The office marks a document Confidential in the publishing page. Add a visible watermark too if you want the reader's name across every page.
2
The crew reads it, never copies it.
Confidential documents are never quoted in answers. When a question points to one, the crew gets an “Open Confidential document” card and reads it in a view-only viewer — no download, no print — with their name printed on every page.
3
Every page carries an invisible watermark.
A pattern tied to the reader is hidden in the layout of the page. It isn't visible, cutting off the visible name doesn't remove it, and it survives a screenshot and a phone photo of the screen.
4
Trace a copy.
Your admin drops the leaked file, screenshot or photo into OpsPrompt. It finds the document and the version, reads the marks, and names the reader with a confidence level and the evidence — or no one, when it can't be sure. Nothing is logged when a document is viewed; the copy itself is the record.
What it doesn't do
No software can stop a photo of a screen. IP Protection makes every usable copy carry a name and a date, visibly and invisibly, and keeps confidential content out of the chat. Pair it with the confidentiality clause in your employment agreement; this is the evidence that backs it up.
Who it's for
Contractors and HVAC, electrical and plumbing companies whose procedures, pricing sheets, checklists and training are the business — and who have watched a good employee walk out the door to a competitor.
Questions
What is an invisible watermark?
A pattern hidden in the layout of a page that identifies who the page was shown to. The reader can't see it, and cutting off a visible name doesn't remove it. The technical name is a forensic watermark.
Does the watermark survive a screenshot? A photo of the screen?
Yes to both. Screenshots are the easy case. Phone photos are read through a second mark designed for the camera. Trace shows its confidence with every name, and names no one when it can't be sure.
Can employees download or print a confidential PDF?
No. Confidential files are locked away in SharePoint, and the crew can open them only in the viewer, which has no download or print. (Someone with developer tools can save what the viewer received; that copy carries their name and the invisible watermark.)
Does OpsPrompt log who opened what?
No. Nothing is recorded when a document is viewed. The leaked copy itself is the record, and only your company's admins can trace one.
What file types can be marked confidential?
PDF. Save Word or Excel documents as PDF to mark them confidential.
Is this a replacement for an NDA or a confidentiality agreement?
No. It's the evidence that backs one up.
Is this the same as the watermark in my office software?
Most add a visible stamp or encrypt the file. OpsPrompt adds a visible name and an invisible, per-reader watermark, and it can read the watermark back from a leaked copy to tell you who it was shown to.
